Completing Federal Grant Applications

Module Description

This module gives a step-by-step explanation on how to complete the federal grant application under Part B of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act of 2004 (IDEA 2004). Directors of special education are required to complete this form in order apply for and obtain federal special education funds. The module outlines how to properly complete each section of the grant form.

Instructional Outcomes

Upon completion of this module the Director of Special Education will be able to accurately and appropriately prepare the application for federal funds under Part B of the IDEA. 

Instructional Events

 

  1. Click on each section of the Part B application form.  You will be taken to an explanation of how to accurately complete that section of the application.  Read the explanation and use it to prepare the application for the planning district.

     

  2. Submit the completed application no later than August 15.
