12b: Special Features of Notes

To change the text and background parameters of a note, choose Tools -> Notes -> Note Options.

The font, size, style, text color, and background color for sticky notes are set on the left, and the text notes are set on the right. After making your changes, you can elect to save those settings as your defaults.

The reading commands work within the sticky notes, footnotes, and text notes.

To have footnotes read automatically when opened, choose Tools -> Options -> Reading tab, and check Read Footnotes When Opened.

To show or hide notes, choose View -> Annotations.

You can extract your notes to a separate file by choosing File -> Extract -> Notes.

To print your sticky notes, text notes, or footnotes, choose File -> Print and select the Note Printing option.
